Razer deathadder elite left handed software#
The DeathAdder was perfect.Īt the moment, I've just ordered a Lancehead TE to see if that will do, but my biggest problem with ambidextrous mice, aside from not fitting my hand, is that not all games and software respect the software-base left/right button swap in the OS mouse settings. I have to bend my thumb too far back for comfort when trying to hit the side buttons. I have relatively large hands, and even the Naga felt too compact. I've tried the the Left-Handed Naga, I've tried the Mamba, and I've tried all manners of other mice from other companies, and the Left-Handed DeathAdder was the ONLY mouse in the hundreds I've tried that just fit my hand perfectly. And trust me, I've used about every ambidextrous and left-handed mouse on the market. I'm a competent gamer, and very few people even realize I'm handicapped at all when I play, but my set up does require a left handed mouse. In MMOs, I use my Corsair K95 RGB keyboard's macro keys on the left side of my keyboard to great effect. Over the years I've developed a very specific control scheme that included remapping WASD to IJKM, along with a lot of other left-hand centric tweaks. On top of being extremely dominantly left-handed, I have a mild case of Cerebral Palsy that affects my motor control of my right hand. Now before anyone says "learn to play right handed", I can't. Right around the same time, the standard buttons will develop that dreaded "double-click" issue as they start to wear out. In all three cases, the mouse wheel hinge snaps and the wheel falls into the cavity.

I've bought three of these things over the last five or six years, and every time, the mouse wheel and the buttons wear out at about the same time. Okay, so, I've been using the Razer DeathAdder Left-Handed Edition mouse for several years now.
